Born and raised in Alabama, Zayne Maddox has enjoyed a career as a performer, composer, private instructor, producer, and engineer. He has played with many groups including: The Black Sparrow Band, Big Bling and the Funk Machine, The Blue Root Jazz Combo, and many of the various ensembles at Troy University.

As of Fall 2025, Zayne graduated from his alma mater and moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he is currently furthering his career within the music industry.
